Puketapu School is highly regarded by our community and it has a reputation that we are all very proud of. The physical environment of the school is a credit to the those who have planned with care over the years, and the appearance of the school makes an immediate impact on visitors. We also have a wonderful hall and ICT suite which were completed in 2000. Our new library was opened in March 2010 and attracts many positive comments.It is certainly a great space for learning and chilling out with a good book. We are currently upgrading the outside area of our junior rooms to extend the learning space so that pupils can work outside. The teachers of Puketapu School are a very skilled and dedicated team, who make a real difference to the learning of our students. Our students experience success in so many areas - academic, cultural, sporting and individual growth - all of this contributes to making their time at Puketapu School so valuable and special. The input of the teachers and our community members helps create this rich learning environment.
